What Record of Yours Would You Like to Break1124

If you don't like numbers...stop reading.

What record of yours would you like to break?

I have a lot of records I'd like to break. All of them, for that matter. Except for maybe the number of times I have done something stupid ... in one day.

Yesterday was a new record day for the forum. Several records for that matter.

We welcomed more than 60 new members. I wanted to limit it to 24 people in 24 hours but I couldn't turn people away.

A record number of sessions for one day - 269!

A record number of pages viewed for one day - 968

A record number of users online - 578!

A great day all around.
Thanks for visiting.
Thanks for staying.
Thanks for coming back.

My wife plays this record by Chicago over and over. Now I like Chicago, especially their early period, but this... oh, THAT kind of record. Never mind.

Is their any other kind? Listening to Floyd on vinyl is like... well... Floyd!

The best bands are named after cities or birds.

Ah, but who/what are the birds and cities named after?

@Rev You really get to the heart of it... This may devolve into a conversation of existence itself.

@Rev @lunar_ranger

As it turns out ... Adam named them.

He called them flyers and people centers.

Then Eve renamed them to birds and cities.

Q: Why did Adam call an elephant an elephant?

A: Because it was the thing that most closely resembled an elephant.

Was it white?

@Rev

Nope. Adam called "Fat Nosey."

Eve renamed it elephant.

Everything Adam did, Eve 'fixed' for him.

Or an elephant that can do a self-portrait?

If Adam had been drinking some of that fermented apple juice it might have been pink!

Would it have had a tiny umbrella in it?

Who was the artist that used to paint on a Saturday morning show... "We'll put a big tree over here. This is where he lives. And let's drop a few rushes here by the water..." and suddenly its a complete scene!

I hope they are selling the elephant art for more than peanuts.

Over? Never! My coffee break starts when I get up around noon and runs to about 4 a.m. I pretty much always have a coffee within reach... here at my desk, or with my laptop at a coffee shop. I'd take it through IV if they'd let me.

My "CoffeePuter" can stream fresh brew to anyone with an Internet connection and a real keyboard. Just tip and pour from the corner of the keyboard (into a cup if you prefer).

Anybody interested in investment shares on an elevated transverse watercourse spanning system in Brooklyn?
