Creating Videos using VideoMakerFX1167

Member bdaoust private msg quote post Address this user
As I am scrolling through my twitter followers DMs, I noticed some photos and a few animated videos. My followers are mostly authors in any genre.

I am using VideoMAkerFx to do some work for other purposes but thought there might be a good fit with creating a few to post on Twitter.

Anyone used video on twitter? And if so, any success?

@bdaoust

I have NOT done video for Twitter, so no help there, but I do have VideoMakerFX and like it. I'd better dust if off and see what I can do with it. I'm starting to feel like a psychiatrist at an Amway convention... so much craziness and so little time!

@jycmba

With a growing Twitter following I am keen to see what damage I can do there with Periscope or Meerkat.

Any ideas?

@Belew @Rev

VideoMakerFx is a program for making hand drawn whiteboards and more. Lots of fun to do these. Doesn't really take a lot of time.

I am thinking that this is something that will really catch attention of your twitter followers.

Hmm... I haven't taken a close look yet.

Is it similar to www.powtoons.com?

I'm not familiar with www.powtoons.com but I'm on my way to look...

VMFX looks like PowToons to me.

Lemme know what you learn from playing, um, doing business research.

My buddy here created this video with PowToons.

@Belew

VMFX is a paid package. I was just saying that Powtoons looks like someone put VMFX actively online. And free for the basics.

VMFX is perhaps a better choice. It's a single price for the whole thing (though there are numerous graphics packs sold separately) instead of a monthly subscription.

I see, I see. Powtoons has an advanced version as well. Get rid of the logo, and so on.

These things can be created on Prezi as well.

@Belew - Powtoon has allowed me to create some videos for clients.

Overall, it's like the cat videos thing or tons of clicks & likes - you can get a lot of traffic, but does it convert?

If a video helps others to get to "know, like, trust" you, then it's done its job.

Everything else is eye candy, and which we know 4 out of 5 dentists recommend you avoid.

@lycmba - Eye candy, yes, but ROI? I guess it depends on the reward.
