Where are your infographics?1272

It seems that Infographics are an interesting way to present information, although they can be very difficult to figure out.

I have a collection on Pinterest (a very small one) https://www.pinterest.com/bdaoust/infographics-collection/ Feel free to share them and add your own.

I have tried many times to put these together, but somehow it never turns out the way I have intended.

Anyone have secrets on their creation?

I'm sure there's a few folks that will step in a bit, but I've only hacked at doing a few myself via Canva or Piktochart - but I mostly pin to a couple of boards as well.

Thanks for sharing @bdaoust. This gives me a small nudge to engage in Pinterest. In fact, after looking at your selection, I found other infographics that are very helpful!

I am in the middle if the 2day seminar.

There's a guy here who's good friend was noticed by the Obama administration after blogging for just one year.

They invited him to DC. He got hired and is now the CIO of the Social Security administration in DC. He was 61 when they found him.

So ... I went to take a look. I got a glimpse of your pins.

Then I was asked to login/sign up to do more. Ugh.

I get it. If I were them I'd ask the same. But, do I want to sign up for something else?

Then I saw it ... 50+ Billion Pins to explore.

50 Billion!? Seriously?

Am I impressed or overwhelmed? Overwhelmed is the answer.

The only thing worse than not enough is too much. I ran...

@belew, in that case, too many on twitter, too many on facebook, too many on linkedin, too many on earth, too many...

It's like anything else, you find your neighborhood.

@morrnel 50+ billion. That's 7 pins for every person on the world.

I have a solution that I am working on here.

People can follow individual boards (which translates into categories0 and people. I do find it more effective to focus on the related niches so people will find you.

I guess it all depends if your target audience has the pins that are worth re-pinning. The re-pinning is what alerts them to your interest.

I am not extremely active here, but I do find many graphics that can be used elsewhere with the appropriate credit given. Plus I now have the Pin It button available on my graphics on my blog. (Hopefully it is still working).

The audience here is over 50% female but many corporations are starting to see the value. I think I have an infographic that shows the stats.

There are great marketing tactics that can be employed here, just depends on the time you want to put into it, and if your target audience lurks there.
