When Do You Volunteer? Heading to TEDxSF1277

Forum Owner Belew private msg quote post Address this user
I get to sit down for a change ... and listen, instead of talk.

Somehow it came across my laptop that TEDxSF was recruiting volunteers. So, on a whim ... I put my name in the hat...and was asked to pitch in.

I am pretty sure that I am twice as old as anyone else on the volunteer list. I may be, probably am wrong. It doesn't matter.

The event is October 29th, 2015. The theme is "A Day to Remember."

I am wondering out loud here. Is there anyone else in the Bay Area who is volunteering? Anyone planning on attending?

How about you? What kind of events do you raise your hand to volunteer for?

It depends on the situation. I volunteer when I can help rather than make the situation worst.

I do unofficial volunteer work when I fell the need.
Like seeing extra patients out off clinic hours.
It's more about satisfaction rather than a work.
