The top 5 YouTube Channels by number of subscribers:

1. PewDiePie: aka Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, Swedish comedian and producer, 39.7 million subscribers NSFW
2. HolaSoyGerman: aka German Alejandro Garmendia Aranis, Chilean comedian, 24.5 million subscribers - No clue what the guy is saying.
3. YouTube Spotlight: YouTube's own channel featuring top videos and other news, 23 million subscribers
4. Smosh: aka American comedians Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla, 21.2 million subscribers

If everybody is so busy looking at those channels, they will never look at yours. Might as well quit now.

What hits me here is the top two are personal channels, meaning they are not big company that have a ton of production budget. We do have a chance!

I am in the wrong form of content.

According to Forbes, "the top-earning YouTube star on the planet, pulling in $12 million pretax over the past year, all for providing expletive-heavy commentary as he plays videogames."
