I am leaving for Shanghai in just over a week. I have China on my mind.

For US engagement, the numbers are small. 1 / 10 / 90.

In China it's 30 / 50 / 20. One out of 3 netizens in China are creating something. 4 out of 5 are reading and moving it around. 20% are passive.

My question is this ... if everyone in China is writing and moving stuff around, who is reading the content?

Presumably, the 50% that are engaged. But how many times have you clicked share, or like without fully digesting the content?
