What Book Have You Finished Reading Lately?1466

I finished 2 books while on my trip to China last week.

I didn't start and finish ... I finished. I was a plane for a full 24 hours. What else was there to do?

Tell to Win by Peter Guber

and

Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance

I didn't realize Peter Guber had 'bought into' my neighborhood. He is a new and part owner of the Golden State Warriors. Look where that got the team. Lots of stories abt how stories has made a difference in his life and those he knows ... and he knows a lot of people that are not in my world ... Even so, his tips on focus helped me to hone my talks a bit while in China.

Ashlee Vance's take on Elon Musk didn't make me like Musk any more ... but it did make me a fan of the man. You don't have to like a person to admire what they have accomplished. SpaceX, Tesla and Solar City. All tremendous accomplishments already ... and he is just 44 years old.

What books have you read lately? Are reading now?

I am looking to have some serious down time starting Sunday for about 8 days.

I started reading Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power by Jon Meacham.

It's a bit dry in the early goings and I hope it picks up. The book is nearly half references and lots of probablys, and maybes, and likelys.

I am going to need to add to my Kindle library before I go.

I like historical, biographical non-fiction about people who make/made a big difference.

What do you recommend?
