If I reset my wordpress
Will it affect my Google adsense earnings?
Is my Google adsense revenue also reset?

The reason to reset my wordpress is due to the continuous category url shows 404 error when I attempt to solve the issue.

I am not sure what you mean by "reset WordPress". If you are going to install a new site from scratch, and if it will be different than the current site and if you don't do proper redirection for all the old pages, then yes, your Google indexing will be affected (negatively) and likely your adsense revenue will follow for some time.

However I expect the 404 issue you are experiencing can be fixed without such a drastic approach.

@tienny

Do you know which page (URL) is generating the 404?

@tienny,

Do the categories still exist?

Yes. I feel so upset with it for not linking to the subcategories. The subcategories URL work very well.

I had deleted the categories, recreate it and link the subcategories with it. Repeat it twice. But to no avail.

When you recreated the categories, check that the slug/permalink is the same as it was before. That could be the cause of your issue.

At first, I recreated the category with the same name but it doesn't work. Then I create the category with a slightly different name. Still the same problem persists. So this is disheartening.

@tienny

So is it posts in the new category or the old one that are giving you the errors?
