I'm trying to bring some new experience to the startup community of Silicon Valley.

The idea is to combine sports and networking into a single event. Therefore are starting Palo Alto Startup Run, which is a free event.

I'm not sure what will come out of this, but the idea seems to be of a potential interest not only to me, but also to tens of those who already RSVP'ed for the first PASR event on January, 10th.

RSVP here: http://www.meetup.com/Palo-Alto-Startup-Run/events/227146156/

Spread the word if you like the idea. Be happy.

@Tonyyakovlev It's always great to exercise and especially important to bloggers because we sit still so much.

I read the other day that 80% of losing weight is down to dieting. I got such a fright I nearly dropped my cupcake!

@SusanDay

Yup, 80-90% of your weight is what you put in your mouth.

@SusanDay Do not know what are you talking about, fortunately )
Never had any real need to lose or to gain wieght.

But I stronly believe that right weight is mainly not about a diet, but more about the right amount of right activities and oxygen. Those of my friends who started dancing, or triathlon lost their extra weight pretty soon.

@Tonyyakovlev

I did triathlons and ultramarathons for many years. Sure enough, I lost the weight.

But when I stopped, it didn't take long for me to find the weight again.
