Twitter vs Yelp for Getting Clients MUST SEE1923

Belew private msg quote post Address this user
Which is better for getting new clients - Twitter or Yelp?

Keep in mind - Twitter is free (when set up properly).
Yelp costs money.

This is a screen shot of the analytics of someone I have been consulting with.

In the last month ....

More people from Twitter than Yelp. 193 vs 71
Lower average bounce rate from Twitter visitors - 63% vs 64%
More page view/visit from Tweebs - 3:16 vs 2:05
More time on site/visit from Tweebs - 3:13 vs 2:33.

Where are you getting your visitors.

Yelp makes sense for what it is - a place where mobile customers can find your location based business.

Twitter is great for an online audience.

Each has its place.

I think the real trick is to be everywhere your potential customers are... so that when they think about purchasing your products or services then you are at hand, you come to mind and you get some interaction with them.

I tend to count enquiries as the ultimate test... that and closing rates.... but social media has different KPI's
