What type of content are you writing?1928

Content seems to be the king when it comes to grabbing media attention. News sources often get their info from smaller blogs.

Are you writing to gain attention or are you just writing?

Are you writing to your target audience, or just writing whatever comes to mind? I've been guilty of just general writing with no particular goal in mind but am changing to a different strategy—writing to gain my target audience's attention.

I don't have a target audience in miND when I write.

Should I?

I am interested in sharing what I know, what I have learned. That's it.

Should I be thinking more?

It depends what you're trying to do or sell. For the past few years I've been working with clients who want to write and publish a book and need help with both.

Now I'm expanding that audience to include creative people who are competent at their art/craft but need help staying on task, defining their goals, or moving into business with what they do.

So, it makes sense for me to write to that audience about what they want/need to know so that I can attract their attention and let them know that I have solutions and programs that help them achieve success.

Interesting.

Do or sell? I think I am just trying to teach. I guess that's a do.
