How Do You Handle Guest Contributors?2189

Belew private msg quote post Address this user
I get a LOT of requests for guest contributions.

Of course, some are fishing for a back link, but others are solid content and most likely worthwhile.

But I can't keep up with the requests and the follow thru.

How do you do it?

Although my life is simpler now - what I used to do in my career business as an architect was use a database like Filemaker and integrate promised dates into my calendar. The dates were Start, Deadline and Drop Deadline. The secret is working whatever system you set up. The simpler the system the better!

@Clydeart

I am pretty simpleminded. That's a good start, right?

I definitely think putting systems into place is the best course of action, as @clydeart is talking about.

You know @belew ... you can always outsource some of these things to a virtual business services company (oh, yeah...like my company - hehe). [FYI - We help alleviate the stress of these things through Calendars and Systems that work for you.]

Yep... systems, calendars, and outsourcing. All good solutions -- individually or in combination.
