I don't think sales is necesaary. I may eat my words later but...

If someone has to be aold on an idea they are not likely to get their money's worth. You might make money but they aren't going to be happy.

People ought to buy into something on their own volition not be persuaded to have to get on board.

We use social media to engage to sell. That is what my new program and this webinar covers. How to engage, build relationships, and transition social media followers to your list for further nurturing.

Most people stop at social media because engagement isn't happening. Then they build an opt- in that they drive the wrong traffic to and no sales funnel.

So...you were all right! :-)

"The One Minute Sales Person" says that being a great sales person is about hearing what people need and then helping them get it.

The two principles for marketing is: 1. create lasting connections with people; 2. be focused on being relentlessly helpful.

When you used these ideas then social media can be a great place to develop opportunities and create sales.

Absolutely...That is what this webinar is about. How many people do you see posting passive garbage or being aggressive and selling before they build trust. I take examples right out of my own feed and talk about them. Don't worry...none of you are in the webinar as an example! LOL.

@SusanDay Wow...sorry it took so long to get this answered. I get far more engagement in my FB group than on my business or personal page.

The reason is that my Platform Building group is a concentrated group of who are interested in the same topic.

Does that make sense?

I am writing a book to help grandparents make a greater connection to their grandchildren. Would you suggest a Facebook group where interested folk could come together and talk about experiences?
