Facebook Advertising campaigns are amazing ... and most definitely worthwhile if you know precisely what you are doing, have a sufficient budget... and aren't frightened of hard work.

I've understand from some authors that if they are done right, it can cost a few pennies a day, and they feel they got great return.......now then....the "done right" part?

@jmolan

exactly = re: done right part.

And how do they define 'done right?'

In my book (no pun intended)= book sales, or something book related that will justify the expense. I want to get my money back.

What do you think is 'done right?'

My experience has been dismal. I tried twice, where FB says "you last post is doing well, spend $15 or $30 and we'll shoot it out to a bunch more accounts." I saw no improvement my self.

I understand that the biggest reason facebook ads fail is because people don't go in deep enough, stay with it long enough ... or just have a crappy ad, or product ... or didn't target correctly.

Okay, that's a lot of reasons.
