Taking the leap on Facebook Ad Campaign2619

Sure is! And it really increased my cred with the big three credit monitoring agencies lol. I haven't been doing anything crazy like that in a long time...there've been a few marketing ventures etc. but not as "intense"

@Belew Isn't it supposed to be easy?

@DansCartoons

No, I mean there are so many pieces and conflicting advice from 'experts.'

One guy tells me one thing another tells me smth different.

@Steve

I think I missed the 'easy' chapter.

By making the Ad manager so robust, Facebook has really complicated the thing ... or admittedly, I am just slow in the uptake.

@SunilBhaskaran

Be sure to step back a bit ... 8-)

Facebook does not make this easy.

Yep. I think Meetup, Twitter, blogging etc. still a better ROI and less cumbersome.

Unless you are willing to spend lots of money it seems.
I may be wrong.

It's not just abt the money on Facebook ... but also the time to understand ... not a bad thing ... but not completely intuitive either.

I would guess that there are at least a couple 100 (yeah, that many) variables to get right.

Teacher SunilBhaskaran private msg quote post Address this user
That would be great to understand - those variables.

My Facebook guy and I are meeting this evening to discuss the transition from engagement to conversion.

Fingers crossed.

Good grief! Still more moving parts. Does it ever end when launching a Facebook ad?

Here are the two competing ads.

Web site conversion for Robot Kids

Traffic conversion for Robot Kids

Comments?

Still more moving pieces.

@Belew

The header for Robot Kids suggest Robot Dads to me. I seem to be missing the point.

I get significant business, most often referral, from my actions on facebook, but I have yet to spend dime one on ads there.

You might talk to others in groups like Kindle Publishers II to see what they can offer on the subject.

Campaign is almost done.

I think I'll have something to report by next week ... probably via webinar or maybe a live presentation at a Meetup and also live streaming.

Or ... I may break it down by pieces in the classroom portion of this forum. Consider upgrading to learn? And help me recoup my costs for this experiement?

For a whopping $19 (opt in and out in one month) I am betting I can save you a LOT more than that.

Your call.
