I was on the road all last week. I was in a meeting, at a conference or standing up front teaching for much of the time. Meaning I couldn't do the regular stuff I do every day.

Now I am catching up.

How do you get back on track after being away for a week or mor

I get caught up on email. Then my calendar. Then Starbucks.

After many meetings, I grab for a good sleep then get back to work.

I slept 11 hrs last night.

I haven't slept that long I'm one night since college.

Email is my first priority as one of my bosses contacts me through that mode of communication primarily.

Next, I make lists of the things I can feasibly accomplish that week. I also make a note of due dates.

Once That list is made, my stress levels simmer down and I get to work.
