... makes me lie down in green pastures ...615

Belew private msg quote post Address this user
For those who know, this line comes from Psalm 23 in the Bible. Psalm 23 is one of the more famous passages.

"The Lord is my Shepherd ... " and so on.

But that's not what it means here.

I played golf today with a good friend. The ball
might say the same ... "like down in green pastures."

What famous lines do you know that can mean something much different than what their original meaning had in mind?

Nope. Short par-3 course. My buddy are on and off in 1.5 hours.

I can get a golf fix and not spend 5-6 hours.

I wish you were here to play. Do they have golf in Nigeria?

I thought Steve was from Australia?
Anyways to answer your question, I know sometimes that non-Christians and Christians will interpret Scripture out of context like Philippians 4:13
