Identifying Keywords - Too Good to Be True?711

Member jycmba private msg quote post Address this user
Here's a promo video that I'm making for a client using Screencast-O-Matic (as mentioned earlier) -

Just curious what your reaction is seeing something like this..

..sound too good to be true?

..wanting to learn more?

The words on the screen are ahead of you. I'd delay the words to follow just after you say them.

People will listen then read instead of read and NOT listen.

Black on white... Need some variety a bit. I think.

@Belew - good point!

I've been thinking of throwing in some colored text.

Normally I have slides with lots of graphics or pictures

..this time I wanted folks to focus on what is being said.

I might use Powtoon the way I did that with your words..

Do you want me to read along while you talk? I'd rather see a few words that focus on what you are saying. Leave them up on the screen awhile (5-6 seconds) for them to sink in, then move on to the next key words.

Your research may suggest read along is better.

My seasonally adjusted two cents worth.

@morrnel - I was mostly curious what the reaction to the content was.

It's interesting that everyone has been commenting on the delivery.

I've seen some effective "video sales letters," and that was the effect I was going for.

What I was hoping to get was your feedback on how this video interests you?

The goal, of course, is to entice marketers like yourself to at least check out the offer.

@jycmba

Re: content.

I have never done keyword research and can still get solid organic results.

I don't see the benefits of why I need this tool clearly enough yet?

What will getting ranked for some obscure key word do for me?

I'd like to know that.

This is why I asked here - I want to see what questions / objections may still be hanging in someone's mind. Thanks @Belew!

Don't like the presentation, either talk or write, don't do both... as to keywords... tell them why they should use your tool from the start...

You'll get better search engine rankings using this tool because ...

It's hard to get past, Google Adwords tool if you are into keywords ... I optimize less than 50% of the articles I write simply because I format in a the correct style ... and this works ... take "content marketing with google hangouts" we did that on the weekend, I now rank on the first page for it ...

No keyword research, no special optimization ... just properly formatted content.

If I wanted to sell that keyword tool ... I would not only promote the tool, I would tell people what to do with those keywords ...

just my thoughts

@belew: you have written so many articles (thousands?), your keyword research is also organic your content goes directly from your mind to page one without even thinking about it. And you can have all the social media dots connected as part of it. This I envy.

@jycmba...
I went back and re-watched the video. I totally missed the part about the product.

I need to know high level, why I need it. No hook.

I do keyword research and would like to know how to improve the process.

Actually, I'd like to go a step further and create a social media "web" for the article I wrote.
