Believe it or not, even @Belew is interested in having this Hangout on Air.

So.. proposed dates - this Sat (Sun @Steve's time)?
or Sun (Mon for down under)

3 or 4 pm PST (bright & early again for poor Steve)

I know I personally would love to hear what his secrets on harnessing Twitter.

Lately, I've started getting some traction using Tweet Jukebox myself. And publishing on LinkedIn has started getting me more attention.

But to be honest I don't really harness social media nearly enough for my business, except to be social.

So this can be a great opportunity to share what's working and brainstorm how to boost your reach and influence.

@jycmba

Why are you surprised that I am interested?

I am always curious to know what is working for whom and how they know?

Good point @Belew - you do focus on what works

Guess it'll be up to us to bring our "A" game and show off our best Weapons of Mass Attraction!

@Steve
@Ileane
@Rev
@Tienny (hopefully we'll get you in this time!)

So far, the game plan is to allow each of us share their favorite social media technique -

(I imagine it'll be Twitter for Steve, YouTube for Ms Ileane..)

Then, we'll each reveal our biggest challenge with social media.

We'll keep it short but enough to be actionable.

If it makes sense to go into more depth, as Bill said, we'll see about having future Hangouts on the more specific topic.

@jycmba

Seems to me that a one at a time approach might work better?

I mean one person/strategy per hangout.

Count me in please. I should be able to make it. No plans to drive through any plugged or winding mountain highways this weekend.

@Belew - maybe

I think a rapid fire approach keeps everyone engaged vs tuning out.

We'll try it this time and see.

If things drag or seems too short, we'll adjust.

@morrnel - no prob, will send you the invite as well.

Up to you for sure, since it's your thing. You can also divvy the video up later for a lot of 'shorts' as well.

@Belew - it's certainly for all of us and ultimately for whoever watches.

But sometimes the producer has to make executive decisions..

..y, I've already started doing the repurpose strategy. This week alone I've created two shorts from our last event - not even a week ago!

Link for tomorrow..

So, I set the time for 3:30 pm for tomorrow (Sat) which is, of course, 6:30 am (Sun) for @Steve -

Here's the link - https://goo.gl/3kdDak

I will send out invites again, as we set up.

Please don't open chats, etc. as I think that's what created all the jumping around last time.

As we use this more, I will probably upgrade and get the Hangout software.

Thanks for your patience!

Right... I've spend the day putting together a presentation, tested my PowerPoint skills out today... it runs to about 16 / 17 slides mainly focused on the topic of social media for content marketing... and then I've included a quick tutorial on Twitter ... and thought I could end with views of my own Twitter stats.

Not sure if this is required... but i do like to be prepared...

Guess we need to know the plan for this one ...

Ok - our goal will be to keep things moving.

Again, while we want some useful takeaways for folks, let's not dwell on any one point.

Here's what we'll cover today..

Brief intro's

- What is Working Best for You

- How to Choose the Best Social Media for Your Audience

- (What is Your #1 Challenge Right Now)

- What is Your Key Takeaway Today

We'll target 40-50 minutes

- Which means only about 10 minutes each point

= only about 2 min for anyone

Everyone was really good about getting to the point last time. So I'll do my best to keep things flowing!

I'll be creating highlight reels over the next week.

Thanks again @Steve for really creating an unexpected, awesome presentation on how he uses Twitter to reach over 130k followers!

He's generous made it available on Slideshare -

Holy mackerel.

With a list like this we need someone to tell us where to start.

It used to be that we didn't know what to do. Now it's where do I start?
