SURVEY - Which Would You Rather Have?900

Forum Owner Belew private msg quote post Address this user
This is not an either or or both and ... and maybe all/some of the above.

It's an informal non-scientific survey.

Which would you rather have? Why?

1. Be recognized as an expert online in your niche
2. More money
3. More time
4. Long-term residual income
5. Several 1000 organic searches/month to your site
6. A few 1000 LinkedIn followers
7. 100,000 Twitter Followers (learn how in @Steve's Masterclass)
8. A deep archive of articles on your site in your niche
9. a library of eBooks, webinars and presentations to sell/give away
10. the opportunity to physically present your ideas to 10,000+ people
11. a tight-knit group of real and relevant other like-minded people doing the same thing as you (but in a different niche)
12. Something else?

#3 More time.

All the rest I either have/am or I can do/get/become if I wish.

The one factor I cannot control is time -- neither the amount per day nor the number of days I have left. The best I can hope to do is utilize what I have in the best manner possible.

1. I would like to be recognized as an expert online in my niche because that would mean I have learned a lot and have shared/ helped a lot of people.
2. If I had more money I would travel more, write much more and help a lot of people.
3. More time would allow me to do more of number 3.
4. I want Long-term residual income so I can live as I want and leave a legacy. This hopefully will show my family and others a way out of poverty.
5. Several 1000 organic searches/month to my site will help me build my legacy.
6. A few 1000 LinkedIn followers will help me get several 1000 organic searches/month to my site.
7. 100,000 Twitter Followers will help me get several 1000 organic searches to my site will help me build my legacy.
8. A deep archive of articles on my site in my niche will keep my site new and there would always be something for the newcomers to find.
9. A library of eBooks, webinars and presentations to sell/give away will help me sell my programs/ services that will build my legacy.
10. The opportunity to physically present your ideas to 10,000+ people will result in a "Butterfly effect" change for the betterment of the world.
11. A tight-knit group of real and relevant other like-minded people doing the same thing as me (but in a different niche) Utopia!

@rashmijdalai

They are all doable. I am preparing a 2 day course on how to get all of these in hand.

I was thinking to deliver it in house but could offer it online as well if there is enough interest.

Doesn't 4 cover MOST of the others that have to do with generating "followers"!?

If you are getting residual income from your online activity, then you must have enough followers and be a thought leader in your niche.

So, I say 4. It all boils down to conversion. In fact what is the point of having 100,000 followers if you are not able to monitize them?

@dmortaz

100K Twitter followers are not easily monetized.

Site traffic is great as long as it's not those pesky bots!

All I want is a happy wife,

a happy wife = a happy life

As for the list, well ... i have achieved some and am working on the others ... all it takes is hard work and understanding you achieve exactly what you really want to achieve if you put in the work.

@Steve

What you sew you reap.
You get what you pay for.
Garbage in, garbage out.
What goes around comes around.

So many ways to say the same thing.

Ditto on the happy wife.

@Belew

What you sew was probably ripped.
Be careful what you pay for.
Garbage in, IM products out.
What goes around is probably a satellite.

So many ways to look at the same things.

Ditto on the happy wife.

@Steve Wilk your wife be happy to help you in your business? Because it makes me happy and joyful to meet and see couples doing business together.

@tienny nope... last wife and I worked together, was fine in the beginning and then not so good... as I took on larger and larger projects and she didn't like the risk ... she also didn't like me being in charge ... We split up and she kept the house and I kept the business ...

Not going to make the same mistake again ... and besides ... my wife just about knows how to switch on a computer... not much else.

@Steve That means your last wife is not the adventure type. Here in Singapore and even in Indonesia, most couples do business together and enjoy each other's companion well until ripe old age.

@tienny @Steve

I have had a similar experience. This, sadly, is not my first marriage.

My wife is not adventurous whatsoever. It's all good. She has a stable job and I explore.

Those matches work better than 2 of the same kind in the West perhaps.

opposites attract?

@Belew Maybe. Though I enjoy stable job, now I realize I enjoy doing adventurous job. But now I need the stable job first to earn for a living first.

All of these add up to becoming the NEW VIP = Very Influential Person.

How would you prefer to be thought of?

Having authority
Possessing credibility
Wielding influence

The verbs and nouns could be interchanged.

or

Being a thought leader

What I am gathering here that I should start planning for the 2nd wife then! Is that the group recommendation?

Can I have you guys listed as the "ground for divorce"!?

Cheers
p.s. Please throw me out of this group, if I get re-married. And I am saying that as a happily married guy.
