Xerox is using content marketing for brand reinvention purposes.

This YouTube video has 3.2+ million views.

Do you know of other examples of big businesses, small ones, too, that are using content marketing (videos in this case) to get the story out on their brand?

Please share here.

Here's one - you might recognize some guy around 2:48 who shows up all over the place on TV..

For the past few years I've been on over 550 productions - friends have pointed me out on shows I forgot that I'd done.

Oddly enough I'm not one of those who always dreamed of being an actor - most folks come to Hollywood and take whatever jobs to get into acting.

I got into acting because for a while it was the only work I could get!

Wrote this bit about it..

@jycmba

If you don't mind me asking ... are these paid gigs?

Oh, yes, most definitely - that's what I mean..

Most folks do a lot of unpaid gigs - just to "break into the industry."

I only took paid work.. sometimes for a lower fee like on a couple of student projects where I worked for gas stipend.

The only "spec work" I did was behind the camera to shoot some commercials with friends and enter contests.

My first speaking role may eventually come out this year. It's a low budget sci-fi where I play a Mandarin Chinese starship captain.

Thanks for the link. Interesting indeed. I am not ready to re locate to SoCal but if I did, well I'd probably opt to work part-time at Disneyland so I could get my daughter in more cheaply.

@Belew - Disney must have all kinds of web work and perks for contractors.

A friend did machine language work - basically taught computers to perk up their ears for "adult" content, i.e. one of the main things you can imagine that they filter. She'd get discounts for her nephews / nieces, but hardly used the stuff herself - dating but no kids.

@jycmba

If I lived in SoCal, I'd have an annual pass for my daughter and me.
